MY TIME IN PORTUGAL

In 2019 I traveled to Europe to present a student project to the Prague Quadrennial during the month of June. After that I stayed touring the continent for another month with my friend Yaraví. We never had a travel itinerary, because we didn't have so many resources, so we decided to see where we were going. We knew many places, some not very touristy or less renowned, among those we went to Lisbon, capital of Portugal. I think it was the most beautiful place I knew on the trip, it has a lot of street art, preservation of heritage culture and a lot of cultural exchange with immigrants, mainly Africans and Brazilians, with whom we shared most in that place. We walked a lot, went through ghetto-like neighborhoods, learning how people relate and live. Lisbon is a port city and has a great resemblance to Valparaíso, almost every afternoon we arrived at the top of some hill to see the beautiful sunset on the Tagus River. I really hope I can return and meet again the very loving lady who hosted us those days 💕
